Connect a general ledger
Connect QuickBooks Online, Xero, Sage Intacct, or NetSuite, and understand what syncs and what always stays a manual fallback.
Steps
- Choose your GL. Native integrations cover QuickBooks Online, Xero, Sage Intacct, and NetSuite.
- Connect by OAuth. Tokens are encrypted at rest and treated with the same protection as production database credentials, because a token gives whoever holds it the ability to post entries into your GL.
- Sync reference data. Chart of accounts, customers and vendors, and classes, locations, or departments sync from the GL into NAVdryx.
- Check field mappings.Confirm NAVdryx’s accounts and categories line up with the GL’s before the first real posting.
- Approve a draft entry to post it. Approving a draft journal entry inside NAVdryx is what triggers the API call that creates the matching draft or unposted entry in the GL — see Accounting close for why posting is always two-stage.
- Monitor the connection.Connection status, sync logs, an error queue, and OAuth token expiration alerts are all visible from the integration’s own page.
The fallback is not optional
Whether or not you connect a native integration at all, a chart-of-accounts mapping and a CSV/Excel draft-journal-entry export are always available. If an API call fails or the connection drops, the entry exports as a workpaper file and you post it by hand — a deliberate fallback path, not a gap the platform happens to leave open.
