Reporting
The LP-facing report set, the performance metrics NAVdryx calculates, and why every report carries a version and a tie-out to source data.
Overview
Reporting in NAVdryx is built from the same source records as everything else — capital activity, fees, and the entity hierarchy — rather than a separate copy of the numbers someone has to keep in sync by hand. Every report carries a version, a preparer, a reviewer, and an approver, and ties out to the source data it summarizes.
LP-facing reports
The report set covers what an LP and an auditor actually ask for:
- LP capital statement
- Capital call notice and distribution notice
- Unfunded commitment schedule
- Contribution and distribution history
- Capital account rollforward
- Fund summary
Performance metrics
NAVdryx calculates IRR, DPI, TVPI, RVPI, MOIC, NAV, and paid-in capital. IRR is calculated by XIRR against dated cash flows by default, with modified Dietz available as a selectable alternative per fund; whichever method a fund uses is locked once its first reporting period is approved, so the method behind a number cannot quietly change partway through the fund’s life.
Every report ties out
A report is only as trustworthy as its ability to be traced back to source. Every report generated by NAVdryx carries the version of the calculation runs behind it and the identities of who prepared, reviewed, and approved it — the same discipline used for capital events and fee calculations, applied to what the LP actually reads. See Capital activity and Fees and waterfalls for how the underlying numbers are produced, and The LP portal for how these reports actually reach an LP.
